    Last Saturday, the Sevilla Nautical Club was proclaimed double champion in the Spanish Long Distance Rowing Championship held in Castrelo de Miño (Orense) . The national event, which brought together 55 clubs from all over Spain, served as a prelude to the Spanish Regional Team Championship that was played on Sunday.

    The Andalusian rowers won a total of 15 medals: eight gold, five silver and two bronze. The Club Náutico Sevilla led the overall medal table with four golds, two silvers and one bronze, also re-editing the title in the Iberdrola Trophy, reserved for women's events.

    For its part, the Real Círculo de Labradores won the national runners-up position with two golds, a silver and a bronze, while the Club Tiempo Libre El Ejido finished in fourth position with two golds.

    As for the lower categories, the two silver medals from the Guadalquivir 86 Rowing Club and the Linense Rowing Club stood out, while the Real Club Mediterráneo de Málaga and the La Línea Sea Rowing Club completed the Andalusian participation.
